The client needed a grand staircase that links galleria mall to creek and also function as communal space for nearby neighbors. The concept in this proposal was to mimic the waves and create a playful and dynamic ridges and valleys were kids can climb up. Areas below the ridges can function as retail for people. The materials used is grc bands, running across the steel substructure holding the staircase. Bands of green follow the form to reinforce the waves concept and allow for central water feature to cascade downwards
