The City of Reykjavik sponsored the Harbor Path project with the intent to revive, visually connect and encourage pedestrian exploration in the Harbor Area.

The operating fishing harbor is right in the center of the capital, and, although interested by investments, feels disjoint by the rest of the city.
This art project, using supergraphics and urban alterations aims at connecting the harbor and revive dead spaces encouraging pedestrian exploration, playing along the threshold of private and public spaces and their accessibility.
Using yellow, white and blue quick dry paint, also used for marking road surfaces in Iceland, the project connected the entire harbor area with a 1.4-kilometre-long path that reaches from Harpa to the Grandi.
This made realize most of the Icelanders and visitors the possibility of walking from Harpa along the harbor all the way to Grandagarður.
